TEAM COOKING: an experience to taste

In recent years many people have started thinking of cooking as a form of art linked to the creativity of a Chef and as a recreational moment to relax from the stress of the office or the factory.

Professional cooking is the result of many factors:

  • precision
  • professionalism
  • very goodorganization
  • efficient and effective team work

The “Kitchen Brigade” is a group of professionals with well defined roles and tasks that has a unique and common objective: quality and service!

A restaurant can be regarded as a sophisticated production and delivery system. To serve a supper is a make- to- order process that works and gets good results as a consequence of a coordinated team work.

In a manufacturing company a Lean Transformation project requires a team leader capable of motivating his team members, keeping the stress under control, solving conflicts, promoting collaboration in view of the common objective.

In cooperation with Hangar78 we have designed an event to explain the main characteristics of  a successful team and the way to build it. We will do that exploring the analogies and differences between the activity of a Chef and his “Kitchen Brigade” and the activity of an Entrepreneur or Manager and his team.

Through the experience of Chef Valentina Bartolozzi, and in the magic atmosphere of Hangar78 kitchen, our experts will lead us to “taste” the principles of team building and lean organization.
