Mere spectators or actors? Practice exercises and games make our training sessions practical and effective

Mere spectators or actors? Practice exercises and games make our training sessions practical and effective

Why not change a course into a working experience?

Why not turn the classroom into a small company facing the problems of increasing efficiency, reducing inventory and improving customer service ?

This is the last challenge for GC&P!

In all our workshops we apply the basic Lean principles: people’s involvement, effective communication, most effective techniques and methods.

And we do that not only by lectures, presentations and case histories, but also through practice exercises and simulations.

Over time we have developed our “toolbox” and we can now propose practice exercises on every aspect of the Lean Organization.

Our star games are Lean Game and Torch Game that simulate a traditional manufacturing process pointing out its limitations and then gradually lead the participants toward a lean process.

Also very useful are Smed Game and 5S Game.

The first teaches how to reduce changeover time, the second highlights the importance of workplace order and tidiness to improve efficiency.

We strongly believe that a practice exercise is much more effective than many words in order to explain Lean concepts, techniques and methods.

We hope that our approach, theoretical and practical at the same time, that is already widely appreciated, can be experienced by a growing number of companies of our region.

We invite you to join our next events, where you will meet very qualified and experienced teachers, but will also be involved in practical activities and simulations.

And you will experience our traditional cordiality, hospitality and congeniality.
