GC&P loves the world: a report on 2013 environmental performances
How was the year 2013 in terms of environmental performances?
Our consultants have driven more than 200.000 kilometres to reach our clients’s sites. We have consumed 11.200 litres of fuel and our total CO2 emissions have been 29.2 tons. For each chargeable day CO2 emissions have been 21.2 Kg., a level lower than 2013 target (22 Kg.) and last year’s actual. This has been possible also thanks to the use of new and more efficient cars.
As for the performances of our office we can say that the consumption of water has been of 17 cubic meters in line with that of the past few years, while the consumptions of electricity has grown to 4695 KW/h equal to an emission of 2268 Kg. of CO2. Consumptions of paper (strictly certified) have been very low (less than 10 Kg.) while refuse has been almost negligible and always subject to separate collection.
The overall GC&P’s ecological footprint for the year 2013 has been of 31.5 tons of CO2, absolutely in line with 2012 but with a number of chargeable days definitely higher.
Our target for 2014 is to consolidate these results and to further decrease the emissions of CO2 by chargeable day.
