WOMEN: the heart of the Venetian Renaissance
Women…
Usually we all know WHAT we do in life (woman, mother, wife, manager, manager, volunteer), and many of us already know HOW we do what we do (with care, dedication, passion).
Few of us dwell on WHY!
This turbulent period of COVID19 has strongly highlighted the fragility of the Italian social system and brings us back to consider “WHY“.
The inequalities between men and women have worsened. We suffered a setback in the climb towards gender equality.
Women, biologically stronger in this pandemic, had to show off all their adaptation skills: resilience, flexibility, problem solving. We then think of the “Wonder-woman” in healthcare, supermarkets and in the management of children and the elderly.
Where women arrive, values and social needs as a whole arrive: problems are opportunities for social evolution. The beauty of the area, the care in relationships, networking and social responsibility can thus be integrated with elegance and meaning in a more functional economy perspective. It is therefore necessary to increase the percentage of women in all areas of work but especially in the “Button Rooms”: only 27% of managers are women and in CDAs only 37% (ISTAT), and with 23% less salary .
We still need to work in a situation where there are fewer career opportunities (e.g. paternity remains optional unlike our Nordic neighbors), the salary is 16% lower than man (Eurostat data), 60% part-time is actually involuntary, only 17.3% work on fixed-term contracts and, alarmingly, at the birth of their first child, 30% of mothers quit their job (Istat data).
The numbers tell us that women do not lack skills, 56% of graduates are women (Censis 2019). The part that can be improved lies in eradicating stereotypes and limiting beliefs through a new language of leadership and assertiveness, to accelerate the process of inclusion and deep awareness in equal rights.
“Female power is not something we can acquire from the outside. It is already within us. It is something that you need to be willing to experience. Something we have to admit we have. ” Marianne Williamson.
Our society is now called to restart, and the Veneto Region wants to recognize and, in some way, finally reward women by investing in them; recognizing that the woman is generative, empathetic, creative and intuitive.
“If you educate a man, you educate an individual, if you educate a woman you educate a nation.” J. E. K. Aggrey
An entirely female team of GC&P has studied and created an ad hoc path: we want to accompany you step by step to retrace the process of reasoning and decisions in a more advanced key which includes:
- who I am,
- why I choose it,
- how do I proceed,
- what do I do.
The goal is to guide you throughout the year with classroom training and distance education (FAD) in “shuffling” your cards, supporting you in the construction of the present and future projects, to show off your winning moves with a renewed mindset.
Here are the points we will touch:
- Train Leadership and Soft skills useful for women’s Empowerment
- Stimulate your talents and your entrepreneurship (Marketing / Sales)
- Strengthen the communicative ability to assert your voice and your ideas in the social reconciliation of work and family life
- Moving from the idea to its concrete implementation with the practical tools of Project Management and Innovation Strategy (risk management, problem solving, market analysis, time management)
An opportunity not to be missed!
