Lean and Intergenerational Transfer, Api Industria Vicenza, May the 10th 2010

A very interesting meeting will take place on May 10th at the conference hall of Apindustria in Vicenza. The theme of the meeting concerns a problem that most companies sooner or later have to face: the handing over of ownership and leadership to a new generation. Very often the new leader is a young person without experience who finds it difficult to assert his or her leadership. Our experience teaches us that one of the best ways to do so is to promote a lean transformation project sponsored by the new leader. The purpose of the meeting will be to show how a young person called to continue a family business can use a lean project not only to improve competitiveness but to assert himself or herself as the man or the woman of the future.

The meeting can be of particular interest to small and medium sized companies which have or will soon have this problem of generational transfer. The heart of the meeting will be the story of their own experience told by a two protagonists:

Sandro Marcorin, CEO – BPT Group: “BPT Group, lean transformation and generational transfer”

Chiara Bolcato: Tiziana Industria Noleggio Tessile: “My experience of Generational transfer”
