Nardini Project wins the 2011-2012 edition of the Nord(b)Est Award

The project developed by a team of CIMBA students for Nardini, the well known producer of grappa and liqueurs, has been awarded first prize for the 2011-2012 edition of Nord(b)Best Award. We congratulate both the company and the students Jami Cuddy, Fabio De Nadai, Apoorva Gaurav and we publish here the prize giving speech given by Mr. Paolo Bastianello, president of the Jury, during the ceremony held at Villa Emo on May 12th 2012.

“First of all the jury wishes to thank all the companies and the students who have participated in this edition of Nord(b)Est Award. All the teams have worked hard and have achieved good results. All projects have won high scores and this is particularly true for the first two projects which were given very similar scores.

The North(b)Est Award 2011-2012 for the best internationalization project, as a consequence of the following ranking for each evaluation parameter:

– degree of innovation – second place,

– concrete results for the company– first place ex aequo,

– company’s satisfaction – first place,

– favourable consequences for North East economic system – first place ex aequo,

– effectiveness of presentation to jury – first place,

goes to Nardini Project (“A preliminary study to define an entry strategy for the Indian market”) conducted by the students Jami Cuddy, Fabio De Nadai, Apoorva Gaurav whom we congratulate once more .”
