New funding opportunities with Fondimpresa
There is a new funding opportunity for Italian SMEs: it is the new call “Avviso 3/2014” by Fondimpresa, which makes available 10 millions euros starting from 20th June 2014 until 31st October 2014 (or while funds last).
The goal of the call is to finance educational/training programmes for employed people in order to update their professional skills and, in so doing, help the SMEs face the challenges of the economy.
The call is very interesting because SMEs can ask for an additional grant, besides the money available on their ”Conto Formazione”. In particular, the additional grant can be of 3.000€ up to 8.000€, according to the rules of the call (it will be of 3.000€ for SMEs whose “Totale Maturando” is less than or equal to 3.000€; it will be equal to the “Totale Maturando” if the latter is between 3.000 and 8.000 €).
Please remember that the project must be shared with and approved by the trade unions associated with Fondimpresa.
Set of requirements:
– The beneficiaries of the training programmes can be: workers, clerks, managers, seasonal workers, employees with apprenticeship, integration or re-inegration contracts, or with a temporary contract, who work for the SMEs that have joined Fondimpresa.
On the contrary, executives, workers on unemployment insurance or with a short-term contract cannot be beneficiaries of this call.
– SMEs that wants to apply must:
1. Have a positive account on their “Conto Formazione”;
2. Have a “Totale Maturando” which is less than 8.000€;
3. Not have submitted any project asking for an additional grant starting from 1st September 2013;
4. Make at least 4 of their employees available as beneficiaries of the training programme, and make sure that each of them will attend to at least 12 hours of training.
