The Importance of being lean & green also at the table

Lean & Green is a concept that goes far beyond the production process. It can be applied also to Marketing, Product Development, Supply Chain and everything else in a company.

But that is not the whole story. We can apply it to everyday life and in many different ways.

We at GC&P think that this philosophy can be applied even to cooking and food: in line with our environmental policy we have decided to make all buffets and coffee breaks of our events lean and green.

To this purpose we have chosen Golose Emozioni, a renowned pastry shop and chocolate maker that share our philosophy, as our caterer.

With them we have selected menus which are good both for our health and our environment because they make use of natural healthy ingredients. All the food that is served at our master classes or conventions is based on these simple criteria::

– Only zero kilometres ingredients are used

– Only biological products are used

– Only seasonal products are used

– Additives, preservatives and dyes are banned

– Hydrogenated oils are banned

– Tableware and flatware is 100% biodegradable

So, being lean and green at the table is terrific!
