GC&P: a Gateway to India

In our continous effort to improve and innovate client service, we have recently opened GC&P India Pvt Ltd office in Navi Mumbai. GC&P India is a joint venture between GC&P and our local partner Alok Tiwari.

GC&P India will be operating in three strategic areas:

1. business development

2. process and organization excellence

3. direct investments

Business development means that GC&P India will advise and support any Italian SME wishing to enter the Indian market.

Through process and organization excellence we aim at improving performances either of manufacturing branches of Italian companies, or of Indian ones willing to acquire GC&P expertise and in-depth knowledge of SMEs world.

Through direct investments we aim at spotting strategic opportunities to enhance made in Veneto and made in Italy products.

This third area makes GC&P approach unique. Since SMEs are generally too small and most of the time creating alliances is difficult, GC&P will invest directly in high-potential sectors and start new businesses which will serve as a launching platform for made in Italy premium products.

We have already approved a strategic direct investment on a newco, Venezia Food & Beverages Pvt ltd, whose goal is importing and distributing quality DOC and IGT wines from Veneto.

New investments will probably follow suit in 2014 in a number of fast growing sectors such as real estate and furniture and in the food business.

We promise that in the future we will continue to work hard to make GC&P the gateway to India for Italian products and for all Italian SMEs willing to enter the market.
